Oleander means “beware” in the language of flowers... Beware as this song has some possible mature themes
The full (official) title is “A Petal of Oleander for the Disgracefulness Enough to Expect the Facile Salvation” ...it didn't fit.

I think a /slightly/ less confusing title would be “A petal of oleander for the disgracefulness (in) await(ing) superficial salvation” but that didn't fit either, so I call it "A petal of Oleander" for short
also I personally prefer “ugliness”, I think it’s closer implication wise to the original word than “disgracefulness” but have translated all instances of the word as ‘disgraceful’ to fit with the original title ;^0
Oh and for interpreting this song, I think reading between the lines and looking at metaphors helps, there are a few notes with less obvious double meanings in the lyrics
the background text has been slightly paraphrased/smoothened for simplicity because; "this sounds like... academic paper bs" - My friend after asking her to see if the first version made any sense to an english speaker, it sounds more dialogue-like now but nothing has been changed meaning wise
while translating this I ended up on the japanese wikipedia page for event horizon and I’m very confused...
