Watch in HD!!! This is a drum cover of a song called '(SIC)' by the band Slipknot. Slipknot was one of the first few heavy metal bands I was exposed to when I first started getting into the genre at a young age. I remember being in middle school and being completely obsessed with Joey Jordison's playing. I was really into this album as well as the album that followed the self titled called 'Iowa'. These two are still albums I jam today for inspiration when writing my own music.
I had a lot of fun tracking this video. There are a lot of sections where you can just play REALLY heavy and hard, and the song calls for it as well. I also added a few fills of my own in certain sections that aren't in the original song.
Here's what Im using in this video.
