Bruno Mars kicked off the BET Awards with a performance you won’t forget.
Whenever Bruno performs you know you’re in for a treat.
The BET awards are always a good time and everyone knows the opening performance has the pressure of getting the party started. Which is why they could not have picked a better person than Bruno Mars to kick things off.
Bruno stepped out in style with his Hooligans and performed “Perm” from his 24 Karat Magic album. The squad was dressed in old school baseball-esque regalia and thrilled the audience with those electric dance moves we all know and love. Bruno wasn’t messing around when he told the audience that they better get up off their feet and have a good time. He stopped his whole set twice just to make sure the message was conveyed.
Bruno even called some audience members out for having their phones glued to their hands recording the performance because hello live in the moment.
