I’m about to blow your minds, guys. Tonight marked the FIRST ever VMA’s performance for both The Chainsmokers and Halsey, and they got to share the moment together performing their hit, ‘Closer.’ You would never say that they’re newbies, because they owned that stage, so let me break it down for you.
Alex and Andrew of The Chainsmokers began the performance with just the two of them rocking it out onstage, Alex playing the keyboard and Andrew sang right into our souls. But all eyes were on Haley, who came out on stage rocking an a sparkly crop top that showed a whole lot of skin. Spoiler alert: she’s got great underboobs, guys. And as Halsey and Drew began to harmonize, they got closer and closer until they were practically on top of each other, still singing, still killing it. Check it out.
But just as you thought ya might get a little lip-locking action, it was all a tease. Yep, I was heartbroken too. But you gotta forgive them, because the entire performance was so great, and I’m so happy they slayed their very first VMAs.
