Well the entire Honeyworks team really never stops working hard, do they? This song was actually created for Utaite GERO's 2nd album "Second" which was released on July 2nd. Yamako-san's drawings are great this time too and while the male protag isn't my type, that girl is super duper cute. I've really stopped getting invested in this series emotionally since the novel made it clear that high school love is well...just high school love, even in the HoneyWorks world, and thus I tried to use this song as "Descent's personal playground to get creative with the translation", hopefully in exchange for my emotional divestment you all will get something enjoyable to read as you listen. Those of you who understand at least a little Japanese will probably be able to recognize what I am talking about more easily. I'm sort of not caring about the characters anymore either but once people hear the details on these new characters, fill me in and I'll update the notes.

-One thing from the lyrics, the last few lines could be read a couple of ways, such as "when I go to sleep I dream of you", "or maybe we can have a relationship where I get to say "goodnight" to you, or the slightly more positive "whenever I say goodnight I know you will be there to brighten up my trainride in the morning. I had to definitely tease it a bit cause our bear team showed up indicating that he was partially getting carried away by his own fantasies but I also wanted there to at least be a positive ending as well.

-And yes, sleepy cute girls are the best kind of cute girls. So that part of the video I definitely connect with,
