The 2016-17 NFL season is still a few months away, but if you need a football fix, the CFL has got you covered! The league is currently in the second week of its 2016 season, and if this video is any indication of what you can expect from a CFL game, it might actually be worth your time.

On the Canadian gridiron on Thursday night, things got super entertaining during a game between the Montreal Alouettes and the Ottawa Redblacks when Alouettes wide receiver Duron Carter—son of former NFL star and Hall of Famer Cris Carter—caught a touchdown pass after surviving a hit that drew a flag. Following the play, Carter got up off the turf, ran over to the Ottawa bench, knocked their head coach Rick Campbell to the ground, danced all over their sideline, started a brawl, and ended up getting himself ejected. It was...something.

Carter reportedly apologized to Campbell after the game. But does an apology really cover everything he managed to do in a 25-second span?

In the past, Carter was considered an NFL prospect, but he's been plagued by the dreaded "character issues" that NFL teams try to stay away from (at least when it comes to guys who aren't guaranteed stars). He originally went to Ohio State in 2009 but left the school after failing to stay academically eligible. Then, he spent a year in community college, transferred to Alabama, and once again failed to stay eligible before being suspended from the team. He tried to go to Florida Atlantic, but his petition to play right away was denied so he never attended the school. And his entire collegiate career included just 13 catches.

After seeing what he did on Thursday, we doubt Carter is going to get much attention from the NFL moving forward. But if nothing else, he did just earn himself a spot on this prestigious list.
