The late great Whitney Houston is the star in one of summer's most anticipated flicks, Sparkle, and today, I want to share with you guys some footage from one of her last interviews.
Whitney sat down to talk about her involvement in the film, first introducing us to her character, Emma.

And in the film, Whitney's character has 3 daughters—Jordin Sparks, who plays Sparkle, Carmen Ejogo, who plays Sister, and Tika Sumpter, who plays Dolores.
From the way it sounds, Whitney was motherly to all them both on and OFF set.
And as you guys all know, Whitney got her start singing gospel in the church, growing up as a kid in New Jersey.
So it sounds like a movie I definitely won't be missing—great acting combined with great music and one of my absolute FAVORITE artists of all time, Miss Whitney Houston—yes, definitely count me in!
