10.Gundam Robot, Japan
A lot of you might instantly recognize this giant robot statue. It is a Gundam, from the famed science fiction series.
It was built in the 2000’s and occupies the space in front of the DiverCity plaza complex in Tokyo.
The creators have plans to make this monument come to life by 2019, just in time for Tokyo’s olympics.
9. Savannah Airport
Runway 10 at the Savannah Georgia airport is possibly the only runway in the U.S. with marked gravestones on it.
It has become somewhat of a strange monument to those who have passed, the graves date back to 1857, when the land was occupied by the Dotson family.
7. Galleta Meadows Estate
Located in California’s Anzo Borrego Desert state park, the galleta meadows estate is littered with weird sculptures of animals.
The estate features more than 100 metal statues ranging from mammoths to saber toothed tigers. They are supposed to represent what life looked like in the desert, thousands of years ago !

It is located in Mongolia, and it celebrates the amazing achievements by the man who ruled the largest empire on earth at one point.

This bizarre statues was built in 1970 by the Church of Perfect liberty in Japan. It is 600 feet tall and it represents the church’s first rule. Life is Art.
3. Midlina
Even though this is not stunning statue, the Midlina monument in Iceland, is described as a walk in the steps of Gods.
It is the exact location of the split between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. And the bridge you cross, puts you in two VERY different parts of earth.

This is the Buzludzha monument located in the Balkan Mountains of Bulgaria.
It was built in 1981 and it once stood proud as the House-Monument of the Bulgarian Communist Party. After the collapse of the regime in 1989 it was only a sore reminder of the past.
The building was left to the elements and eventually completely “shut down” when the government put metal chains around the main door. Fortunately, there is other ways you can enter this saucer shaped building.
The inside was at one point covered in portraits of Karl Marx and Lenin. Nowadays, the only remnant of the Soviet era is the giant Hammer and Sickle on the roof.
Above the main entrance, an ominous sign in red paint tells all to “forget your past”.
1.Coca Cola
This one is as strange as it is obscure, a coca cola vendor company located in Chile decided to celebrate 100 years of coke by making the biggest commercial monument to the soft drink. So big, it can spotted from space. It has subsequently been updated for the 125’th anniversary.
The sign is made up of over 70,000 glass bottles and it stretches longer than a football field.
