Blind since birth, pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii believes that “there are no barriers in the field of music.” At the age of twelve, he made noted recital debuts at Tokyo’s Suntory Hall. In 2009 Nobu won the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Gold Medal, his Carnegie Hall debut took place in November 2011.
