The effervescent Bria Skonberg came by with a top notch group and wowed us with a fun set of music, laughter and fun. Mathis Picard (new Julliard graduate) backed on piano, Eric Wheeler played upright bass, Elizabeth Goodfellow (with whom Skonberg had a band named “Mighty Aphrodite”) charged drums and percussion and Steve Treseler (who met and jammed with Skonberg in Seattle over a decade ago) filled out the group on reeds.
