My Sassy Girl is a drama based on the movie of the same name, which is turn is based on a series of blog posts that author Kim Ho Sik wrote about his relationship with his girlfriend. The series has become a modern sensation, and has been adapted into several remakes across continents. The drama's original broadcast period is from May 29, 2017 to July 18, 2017. The series is directed by Oh Jin Suk, who is reuniting with his Yong Pal star Joo Won.
