Cheryl Cole hits back at former protegee Cher Lloyd after the X-Factor star took a swipe at her singing abilities.
Cher recently said that she would maybe sing with Cheryl "if she sang live." When asked if she was referring to autotune, Cher sarcastically replied, "What, oh no? Never, never ever!"
Cheryl picked Twitter as her weapon of choice, writing: "Be Careful who you kick on your way up...They kick you twice as hard on your way back down."
Cheryl added the phrase: "Unappreciation is ugly." Is she trying to say she should get the credit for for her mini-me Cher's success? Others just say, "Oh, Mothers and daughters- they fight all the time!"
