Video Teochew Opera: 孟丽君 [游园]

Fair maiden Meng LiJun masquerade as a man to take part in the Imperial Exam. "He" is successful, and rapidly gain promotion to Prime Minister. The licentious [in operas they all are !!] Emperor upon discovering that "he" is in fact a beautful lady, invites Meng LiJun for a canter in the Imperial grounds; where he flirts outrageously, and attempts to take liberties with 'him', much to her extreme annoyance.


Xiaosheng 林勇悦 (one of Shantou City's acclaimed "Top 10 Chaoju Performer") as the Emperor, and huadan 林丽丽 as Meng LiJun.
