A black market for selling wild animals has been exposed along the China-Vietnam border in Yunnan Province. Media investigation found that the animals being sold on the black market varied from macaques to hedgehogs and other endangered species including masked palm civet, red muntjac, silver pheasant, and jackal among others. Once purchased, most of them appear to be cooked on site, as shown in the undercover video footage.
