9. Friendly Spotter
We’ve already seen what it looks like when guys get a little too close when it comes to getting a spot but let’s see how it looks with two girls because, well why not? For some reason it doesn’t quite seem as awkward. Strange how there’s double standards on that. Good friends don’t let other friends squat with bad form. And these two girls have excellent form. This is the proper way to spot a squatter and you’re supposed to give them a big hug from behind Safety does come first and her friend doesn’t mind lending her a few extra hands.
8. Gym Stalkers
With all that great form going on at the gym, might attract a little unwanted attentioin. Don’t mind him everyone, he’s just watching. Anyone out there consider making up random workouts just so you can get a little closer to the hot girl lifting? Well this guy was just straight up creepin and not even trying to hide it. He’s not even wearing gym attire for crying out loud! You can’t blame him for wanting to look but you’re scaring them all away!
7. #GetRipped
If you’re one of those people who bring their phones out to the gym to get on social media and talk about how ripped you are getting and how unbelievable a new protein powder is working for you like these guys probably are, then you are guilty of a gym fail. It’s a trend that seems to happen all too often and people always want to post on their instagrams about how health conscious they are. These people are probably getting a better thumb work out if anything and are clearly not focused! What lady out there is looking for a man with massive thumb muscles? Am I right?
6. In Defense
Ladies you guilty of it most of the time too and if you dress kind of like this girl, you might get a little unwanted male attention at the gym. It just seems inevitable! Girls will often complain to their friends that some weirdo was staring at them their entire work out, but never give too many details about exactly what they were wearing. They probably forgot to mention the part about a sports bra and the super tight yoga pants while they were spending a few hours on the inner thigh adductor or busting out some serious squats. Don’t deny it anymore. We know some of you are craving attention!
5. Still a Little Too Close
No one wants to be trapped underneath a bar at a public gym and spotters are certainly recommended when you’re trying to max out on reps. But we don’t really see the need for two spotters, especially in this case. This guy either is just recovering from reconstructive elbow surgery or he’s got a couple of pals willing to do whatever it takes for him to get a good work out. You never want someone to stand too close to your head while they’re spotting your bench press.
4. Workout Cheat
After intense days at the gym segwaying it up, she really began to wonder why she wasn’t losing any weight. She’d be here late every day for hours until the battery died out! Truly a mystery. This could also be the best possible way to get on a treadmill and achieve absolutely no exercise at all. Who know you could get such good segway training on a treadmill anyways.
3. Pace Yourself
The lady on the segway might be able to handle high speeds on the treadmill but chances are, you probably don’t! We all know that working out at the gym can be just completely exhausing and sometimes your legs can’t keep up! This is exactly why you shouldn’t do intense cardio after leg day. The faceplant into the moving treadmill will likely teach him this rough lesson.
2. Protein Shake Fail
We imagine all these protein shake companies went out of business as soon as this guy posted this photo. This guy hasn’t noticed any massive gains just yet but he’s hoping quantity will prove to get him the results he’s looking for. He’s got those 5 pound dumbbells lifted high. He’ll get some meat on those bones eventually, and when he does, all those who made fun of him better watch out!
1. Keep it Down
This female body builder was weightlifting at competition when it appears as though her stomach got the best of her! Exerting all that power and force such short intervals can really shock the body. Combine that with a bunch of wacky supplements for strength and energy, and you’re just asking for a bad time. This photo her was captured in Lucie, Florida in the mid stream of a projectile vomit launch. This is why you don’t over do it with protein shakes, right before you decide to lift people! The footage ended up going viral so it’s certainly one of the most well known gym fails out there!
