Video Maalaala Mo Kaya Recap: Baso

Jayson discovers that his biological mother, Chona, abandoned him under the care of his aunt, Guily. Treated as an outsider by her step-siblings, Guily makes sure that Jayson knows that she cares for him as her own. However, despite living harmoniously with his foster family amid financial struggles, Jayson longs to be with Chona. When he finally gets a chance to meet his mother, Jayson discovers that Chona wants no part of him in her life. Feeling unwanted, Jayson starts to neglect his studies and inherit bad vices. As a mother who cannot bear witness to her son throwing away his life, Guily goes to great lengths to support, nourish, and provide for her beloved Jayson.
