We have been watching our favorite animated series for a couple of years. But do you remember what they looked like at the beginning? You might be surprised by how some of these shows were created at what the characters looked like when it all started. This is why we are showing you the evolution of your favorite cartoons.

“The Simpsons” is now known as the longest-running American animated program, as the 29th season started airing in October 2017. Whenever we are flicking through the channels on television, we see the yellow characters, and we immediately know that we are watching this cartoon. “SpongeBob SquarePants” is one of the most popular animated series on Nickelodeon as both kids and grown-ups loved to watch it. You might think that nothing makes sense in this cartoon and you are absolutely right. This is why we were surprised to learn that the creator Stephen Hillenburg actually studied marine biology in University. And just wait until you hear about what Bob the Sponge used to look like.
