Video Navy Dad Surprises Daughter for Valentine's Day at Westosha H.S.

17-year-old Delainey Smith had an incredible Valentine’s Day when her father, FC1 William Smith of the U.S. Navy, came home to surprise her.

Smith has been away for seven months serving on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz.
Delainey was at cheerleading practice Friday night, February 14th at Westosha Central High School. She thought the squad was putting on a performance for the parents, with no idea her dad was actually there.

Delainey was one of the last girls to walk out. Her reaction when she sees her dad is priceless.
