Do the hills have eyes or patches or just a nasty eye?
The answer is right here in the hills have patches makeup tutorial. This all comes down to a nasty patch with a mutilated eye and some fresh pus to go with it. Like any old mutant you need to know how to handle those deformed body parts. This one is created using latex paste, which is a nice mix of liquid latex and wheat flour. The ratio is always tricky but add a little flour at a time until you feel you have the right texture.
But before you throw yourself into latex sculpting mode make sure you create halv an eye with Ellimorph plastic. That eye will be the center piece of your patches. Much like the movie: The hills have eyes, this is about creating a mishmash of different textures and looks and stitch them them all together into one freaky creature.
And hey, don't forget to check out Wes Craven's original movie from 1977 - The Hills Have Eyes.
