The brave men dangle from a single rope while performing labor-intensive repairs to address centuries of deterioration. Because some repair sites are remote and steep, supplies are transported by donkeys, horses and steel cables. Despite the dangers, the workers have great pride working on this iconic landmark. The Great Wall is considered one of the seven wonders of the world and receives 10 million visitors each year.
