Ha, owner of a silk weaving business, and Hung - Huong couple have shared a house. Thu is the owner of a shop located in this house. After having lost his share into the hands of Hung and Huong, Ha pretends to cooperate with Hung to burn Thu's shop and then break the happiness of Hung family. Recognizing who is the culprit, Thu accepts Ha's offter to work with him only to trick him to get her revenge. But before carrying out her plan, Thu accidentally knows that Ha and his wife have been struggling to make ends meet, so she excuses him. However, after all the bad things Ha has done, he actually pays for his sin as his wife divorces him and leaves him lonely in his own torment.
