Bella wasn't afraid to talk about it afterwards. The model tells Elle.com following the protests, "We shouldn't treat people as if they don't deserve kindness just because of their ethnicities." The subject hits close to home for the 20-year-old, because she's Muslim and her father Mohamed Hadid, she tells Porter Magazine, "was a refugee when he first came to America."
