Video Local Marine Surprises Family with Homecoming at Steelers Game

It was an emotional reunion Sunday evening as a local Marine surprised his family with a holiday homecoming at Heinz Field.

The Lemasters family thought they were accepting an award on Lance Cpl. Cory Lemasters’ behalf during a break in the Steelers vs. Bengals game.

But during the award ceremony, Lance Cpl. Lemasters walked through the tunnels leading to the field and ran into his family’s arms.

Lemasters’ family thought the young Marine was still in Afghanistan, after being deployed there in 2012. Lemasters joined the marines after graduating from Brentwood High School.
