Koenigsegg Automotive AB, the Swedish manufacturer of high-performance sports cars integrates portable metrology at different stages of their production process to improve overall product quality.

Using the MetraSCAN 3D laser scanner, HandySCAN 3D scanner and HandyPROBE portable CMM, the Koenigsegg team is able to set up jigs and fixtures much quicker and get fast feedback on the quality on the production line between units. Moreover, the team can better analyze tolerance levels, pinpoint quality issues as they arise and increase customer satisfaction.
