This song describes the story of ‘Nongae’, who sacrificed herself for her country by throwing herself into the Nam River while grappling the Japanese General tightly during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592.

‘가락지의 꿈’은 퓨전국악밴드 '비단'의 2016년 첫 번째 디지털 싱글로, 임진왜란 당시 기생으로 변장하여 왜장을 끌어안고 남강에 투신한 ‘논개’의 사연이 담긴 국악발라드 곡이며, 나라를 위해 목숨을 던진 논개의 충절을 풍성한 코러스와 조화된 애절한 구음 멜로디로 잘 표현하고 있다.
