I have always loved doing different scooter hacks to my scooter. Way back in the day before there were such things as real scooter pegs, we would make our own using really long axles and a bunch of bearings. It was great because axles would only cost us 1 dollar and the pegs would work just fine. Although, I was much smaller when I first started doing this scooter life hack back in the day. So, I decided to reintroduce the $1 diy scooter pegs back into my life to see if they would last like they used to. I used a much stronger axle to make sure that the scooter peg wouldn't snap on me, which seemed to work very well. Pretty stoked on the outcome! I was actually very surprised that they performed as well as they did. I even did tricks like flairs and hit the side of the peg to see if they would bend and they never did. I could have done a ton more scooter tricks to REALLY test out the pegs, but I figured that they had enough grinding and beating at the skatepark to prove if they would have bent or not.
