hello, my dear friend.
I know I say this almost each time I write to you, where I talk about how quickly our year is passing by...
but with this week over, we will be through a third of our year! Every day is just flying by, especially with pressing deadlines and big exams/projects we are dreading to execute. I have been in a tough place the past few days of this week, as I was kind of feeling overwhelmed and not having enough time to get everything done. In addition, I am sick, again! What else is new though... It's just headaches and a sore throat for now, like the head ache I had through this painting video..
But I still put my efforts out to find the things that keep me centered in my walk through life! God, family, blessings like you..
It was my sister's birthday a couple days ago on monday (she thanks you for all the birthday wishes!) and I had so much to do that day AND night, I was afraid I wouldn't allocate enough time for her at dinner. A part of me wanted to ask if we could just have a quick dinner so I could start homework asap and sleep, but a part of me still cared so much and wanted to do something more.

My studio class got out 20 minutes early (yay!) and I walked to the downtown market to get some snacks, and made her pasta for dinner. It was nice, we ended up talking until like 9pm. That's when I finally started homework, but despite having procrastinated, my mood was so much improved.
It reminded me that this is why I live! And what I am so thankful for! Family and love. What a blessing that she is here at school with me for another year or so. School assignments will keep coming as long as I am trying to learn and grow with these challenges, but I keep telling myself that I am at times caught up in the moment of it all, but decades from now, college will have just been a memory.. And I know I will just wish that I made the best of it all to live as happily as possible.

There is so much more I would want to say regarding that, but I will perhaps talk about it in a video. I still wonder how much growth I am to experience in the latter half of my college career! Thank you for being on this journey alongside me, as I share my thoughts and content with you. Thank you for reading this, and for your thoughtful and tender words that I read in the comments.
