空港 (aka "Kuko"/"Airport") is one of my all-time favorite love songs of Asia. This song, also known as 情人的關懷-Lover's Concerns in Chinese, was originally made famous in Asia by the talented, multi-linguistic, Chinese pop singer from Taiwan, Teresa Teng (01/29/1953-05/08/1995). This beautiful singer was taken from us too soon.

This tear-jerking song traveled to Japan in 1974 and became Teresa's first hit in Japan, titled 空港 (Airport), and she received the Best Newcomer Award later that year.

I was told the original Chinese lyrics were written by Teresa Teng herself, but I couldn't confirm that. If any of my YouTube friends happens to know this information, please share with me. This clip is featuring the Japanese version.
