In addition to being punk rock royalty, the Descendents are noted coffee fiends. So while the band was in New York, Noisey grabbed a few cups of joe with frontman Milo Aukerman and bassist Karl Alvarez at Café Grumpy to discuss Aukerman’s recent departure from his science gig, being rock star dads, their long-awaited new album ‘Hypercaffium Spazzinate,’ and why, 30 years later, farts are still so damn funny.
